This fantastic inspirational Postal Course is an adventure into the magical world of electronics, starting with the basics, and rapidly building to more advanced practice. Giving you an insight into the workings behind technology & helping you understand some of the ‘Magic’ that holds our modern world together. (Please note: References to Wizard, Magic, Spells Etc. are simply a Theme to make the course more Fun, there is no Religious or Belief system being promoted by their use. There are a few gentle nudges to Philosophy & common sense using quotes from Einstein etc.... life is an adventure!)

The Course is very practical and hands on. Each package contains everything needed to make a fantastic project, whatever this week’s mystery project contains, it will be sure to amaze and excite you!

This great new Electronics postal course is a 1 YEAR Course has been split down into THREE bite-size 'Spells'(Terms).

All Apprentices must Apply at least 14 days before the Spell Date........preferably Book as early as possible!...... it takes a lot to organize your WonderBoxes!

Every Month you will receive a Mystery 'Wonder Box' in the post. This consists of electronics projects, all components, Clear Instructions with no Jargon!, facts, information, a regular Quiz called 'The -is- Quiz', sometimes a CD and everything needed to take you along your electronic journey.

We also have a Token Award system where Apprentices can collect Tokens for the Tasks, The IS Quiz and there are many other opportunities during the Spell. Tokens can be exchanged for Gifts during the Spell. For example small tools, solder and components for their own projects. Tokens can also be carried forward to the next Spell where there will be more Gifts available for more advanced Apprentices.

Some of the projects include:

Radio, Oscillators, Simple Computer Programming , Magnets & Motors, Power Switching, Graphs and Charting, Circuits,

LED Flashers, Sound Generators, Timer, Electronics and electricity Basics

Technical Drawing, Calculations , Early Inventions , Alternative Energies, Learn Soldering, Volts, Amp, Watts, Resistors, Capacitors, Transistors...etc..... Each WonderBox is a Mystery!

A few household items / tools may be needed, scissors, glue, screwdriver etc. However a 15/30 watt soldering iron is essential; this can be purchased from the Kidstuff shop.

Each Apprentice is given a unique 'Apprentice name' & Credit size Pass, which enables them to ask questions and talk to other Apprentices on the Apprentice Forum on the website. Please note this is a private forum and open to Apprentices (and their parents) ONLY. It is not possible for anyone else to Register, See what has been said or Post a message.

No previous experience is necessary, all information is provided and could easily be followed by a student aged 11 years and older. Younger students are also welcome however they will need more practical help. This will mean that Parents will have to take more of an active role and will have to go through the course helping all of the time. Without that extra parent help the younger Apprentice mayl fall behind and lose interest, so double effort from parents please for younger ones... :o) There is no Jargon or complicated language, everything is explained clearly. In fact we will say that again.....There is no JARGON, The text is FUN to follow with pictures...and easy to understand.

Cost Per Spell that’s for 4 MONTHS (4 wonder boxes): There are 3 Spells (Terms) in this 1 year course

A Late Booking charge of £5 is added to bookings later than 7 days before the start of the spell.

Sibling Apprenticeship Package: For families with more than one child wishing to do the course. For an extra £30 per child, you will receive a duplicate of some items during the Spell including Tasks, Quizzes & Token Awards. Each Apprentice will also receive their own unique 'Apprentice Name' and pass, so it's easy for a younger brother or sister to join in the fun!

On successful application your Wizard name & pass will be sent along with your enrolment letter.
